I crave you

Dear My Love,

I crave your eternity

I crave to know your seemingly,

Irrelevant,

details,

Because you are the only thing,

Still relevant to me.

To know your least favorite color,

And how you hate early mornings,

How you order your coffee,

And your thoughts on a new movie,

How many guitars you own,

And each of their names,

How many children you want,

Or perhaps none at all,

What sports you played as a child,

And if you excelled,

Whether you’re good at math or science,

Or both or neither,

Which bones you have broken,

And from taking what risks,

To know what makes you, you.

I’d listen.

Even if it took years, I’d listen.

It’d take a lifetime to satisfy my craving.

For you.
