I create my own pain

I create my own pain

I continue it by breathing

I will accept your hatred

If it keeps you from leaving

I promise I won't fight you

I'll take blow after blow

as long as it means

I won't be alone

I create my own pain

just to keep you here

I don't mind having bruises

if it means your are near

you validate my existence

without you I am nothing

I don't mind the burns

when gods the one I'm touching

I don't need the oxygen

I don't need the reprieve

I don't need any gifts

as long as you never leave

my entire being is being torn

in and of itself

I create my own pain

I destory myself
