I Cry for Humanity

I cry for humanity. Neighbors, friends- shoot each other down without hesitation. A hazy tomorrow filled with surrealistic objects. Yet you still go on. Like nothing ever happened. With ice veins and a crooked smile. Your mind is the one that failed you. In a moment of complete desolation people are scared. And with good reason I dare add. You walk with the shadows. There is no return. No redemption. Your reality deceives you, like you deceived the world. A bloody conscience. What will you do? You do it over. A repeating cycle. You cease to exist, but everyone notices you. The creep in the corner. The odd man out. I cry for you, but not for you. You senseless beast. What a front you put on. What kind of monster have you become? Thats just it; a monster you are. Run, run ,run. Silly human, you can't escape. Haven't I told you? The mind is a dangerous place. You wander as far as you dare; Limitless. There is nothing to chain you. Your shackles are broken; free. I stand alone; and you? Tell me, what do you feel? Remorse? No. Your feelings are to great to understand. You can't escape. Can't escape. Can't escape anything. Your mind runs on. Stop you say? Not a chance. You see for it is your mind. No stop; no end. Limitless to power, to hate, to deceit. Walk through the depths. Walk through your blood. Sense the danger. Feel those you've loved. You dont matter; its all gone. For you are who they make you, and thats why you have won. You've walked through them all. Your greatest debt. And you think now that everyone is someone to forget. Leave us alone. We are just trying to live. To fit in. To be accepted. Listen. I cry for humanity.
