I DEFINE ME

FLAWLESS

I am flawless because I choose to be
Hair will not define me
Color wll not define me
Society will not define me
I define me, and I choose to be FLAWLESS

Thick, black, nappy
Natural, beautiful, strong
Choosing not to be straight but kinky
Full with exotic energy, I will not be tamed
Hair will not define me
I define me, and I choose to be FLAWLESS

Too black, dark-skinned, dirty
Black goddess, sexy, sweet chocolate
The color of rich coal diamonds
Not tolerating, but loving the skin I am in
Color will not define me
I define me, and I choose to be FLAWLESS

Ghetto, angry, phat
Educated, passionate, curved
No one will portray me as someone I am not
I right my own path
Society will not define me
I define me, and I choose to be FLAWLESS
