I Did It!

I Did It!

By Gabriella

I can’t do it;

I need the protection of my home.

What if it isn’t a good fit?

I will miss the safety my home.

Moving out to the unknown is my fear.

I can’t do it;

I need the protection of my home.

What if I don’t have enough wit?

I will miss the safety of my home.

Moving out alone will bring at least one tear.

I can do it;

I don’t need the protection of my home.

No more what ifs because I am legit.

I created security in my new home.

Moving out brought me cheer.

I did it;

I overcame the refuge of my home.

It was easy enough I must admit.

I found my strength and freedom in my new home.

Moving out, I will perservere!
