I did not know

I did not know

I did not know how to feel when it happened

I did not know that even did happen to me

I did not know how to tell my best friend

I did not know how to tell my own mother

I did not know how to confront him about it

I did not know what to even say

I did not know if I should tell him how I felt

I did not know that my own boyfriend could do this

I did not know how to move

I did not know how to say no

I did not know how to react

I did not know how to stop it

I did not know how to address it

I do not know what to even think

I know it was not my fault

I know there was not anything I could have done

I know that I am stronger now

I know that I can do better now

I know that I am amazing and can do great things

I know that this isn't the end

I know that this is the beginning

I know I can do better
