I Didn't Know

I didn't know what to do

I was hurt

I was broken.

A voice called out through the pain

It shouted, "Keep going."

It cried, "You're worth it."

It whispered, "I believe."

Hope drove me forward.

Hope was all I had, and then I realized

Hope was the voice.
