I didn't know

I didn't know

I didn't know

It's not my fault

but I should have known.

I was there

I saw it all

I watched you fall

and I didn't care.

And now I live

with all my guilt

with all my guilt

that I'll never rid.

It's not my fault

I didn't know

I didn't know

but I should have known.

I watch you cry

as you're by my side

and I want to hold you

but I can't decide.

So I stand and wait

and try not to stare

but I'm at your side

it isn't fair.

Don't forgive me.

I don't deserve it.

I didn't know

I didn't know

I'ts not my fault

but I should have known.

I was there

I saw it all

I watched you fall

and I didn't care.

And now I live

with all my guilt

with all my guilt

that I'll never rid.

It's not my fault

I didn't know

I didn't know

but I should have known

and now I know.
