I didn't know
I DIDN'T KNOW
I didn't know hate has a twin sister
She makes hearts pump twice faster
I didn't know that she actually existed
She makes sadness and anger unrealistic
I didn't know she makes happiness a common visitor
She makes your mind into your heart’s prisoner
I didn't know that she won't leave even if you beg
She’ll stay like an ugly scar or a stain from an egg
I didn’t know that she could make you insane
She’ll make you accept her even if it’s not with a feeling of fain
I didn’t know that she proudly holds your personality’s hand
She’ll make you ask for attention and affection in a demand
I didn’t know that sympathy is her brother
She’ll make you need her like you need the sweet words from your mother
I didn’t know she makes women into perfect mothers
She is called love by you but amour by others
I didn’t know her until I met you
