I didn't know, it didn't hurt

He took you skydiving on your birthday, I didn't know so it didn't hurt. We picnicked and tried magic tricks, Tasted beers in the dirt. Late at night he sends you messages, It's okay coz he's your friend, I read the books you read, They all have tears at the end. What we had, couldn't be planned, You will always have my heart, You made love to him on my birthday, I felt our souls, pull apart.
