I Die, You Die

I waited for this moment. I waited my whole life to look you in the eye And see the monster hiding behind your mask. I saw through your lies and deceits. You can convince the others. You can smile and laugh like it's a game. I will stop you before you hurt anyone else. So come now and hit me. I've trained myself for this one fight. My blood pours. I laugh when it is you who flinches in pain. I'm sorry. Did that hurt? Let me make it up to you. I spread my arms. You strike my heart. Feeling the blood flow out of me I laugh. I've killed you at last.

I don't write poetry but sometimes a good one just pops out of me. Probably once every other year. I'm a college student and recently declared a minor in English so hopefully I'll get around to writing more.
