I do it Just for Me


I do it for them, never for me I do it so they're proud, never for me I do it so they'll shut up, never for me I do it because I should, never for me I'm glad I do it for them, and never for me If I did it for me I'd be doing nothing I do it just for me, just for me Just for me to be happy successful and free I do it just for me, just for me.

This poem kind of expresses my struggle of high school and finding money for college. I was brought up in a household where making good grades was what you were supposed to do, luckily I made decent enough grades to get into the college of my choice, but it seemed like nothing was ever enough for everybody else, so I started to do things for me.
