I do not know what that is

For a thousand dollars they ask what does a healthy relationship mean to you?

Everyone giggles at the simpleness of this assignment and I laugh too…

Only I do not know why…

No relationship I am in or have been in is healthy

My mother showed me its okay to put drugs before others

My father showed me that men can seek pleasure in any way they please

My tata showed me alcohol was the way to get through a day of hard work

My best friend of ten years showed me its okay to grow apart from others even when people are reaching out to you

My step mother showed me its okay to walk away from your child after telling them they are nothing

My best friends now show me it is okay to smile and be nice to people you whisper about at night

My best friends now show me that being mean is a talent  one has to excell at

These are relationships I know like the back of my hand and all have showed me what I want not to be.

A healthy relationship to me is a fairytale as figment as a happy ever after.
