I Do Notice

I do notice.
I know what you are going through
Because in you I see some of me.
It's as if He has had it get you too.

Except there is a problem.
I don't know how to help.
I just know that I want to grab my bow
And use the arrow to make myself yelp.

I see your pain.
But what can I do?
All I want to do is help.
I want to see you less blue.

I ask if you're alright.
It seems like the thing to be done.
What am I to say though?
When you tell me you cannot run?

If I can't figure myself out
How can I ever assist?
I really want to help you
But my mind seems to resist.

"I have issues." You let out
"I just can't find my way."
I don't know what to do.
How can I erase a bad day?

Please know that I do notice.
I really want to help you.
I just wish I knew how.
I pray for the day when I can know you're not blue.
