I Don't...

I don't want attention.
I don't want sympathy.
I don't want to be known as weak.
I want to be known as me.

I don't want the hate.
I don't want to be called names.
I don't want to start drama.
I'm not putting up with your games.

I only want to be pretty.
I only want to be sweet.
I only want to be skinny.
I'm not the greatest girl you'll meet.

My thighs are too big.
My eyes are too small.
My feet are too long.
Why can't you see at all?

I'm not your dream girl.
The popularity and riches.
I don't wear the trend
My heart is in stitches.

I wish I could be me.
I just want to be normal.
I'm not what I look like.
I'm not what you would call formal.

For once in my life, I want you to see.
I'm not who you think.
I am a living being too.
I'm not an anchor, don't let me sink.

I don't have much friends.
People don't see me full through.
I promise to love you and hold you.
Even if I'm used and not new.

I don't want to live in this prison.
I want to be free and grow
Let me drift through the wind
Like frozen water, or snow.

I may be wilted, I may be crushed.
But my roots stay together like glue.
I may not be fancy, or may not be dancy
But I want to mean something to you.
