I Don't Feel the Same

I don't feel the same about "us" anymore

So I'm packing my things and walking out the door

I'm sorry if I hurt you in any way

But I just can't stay another day

I know it's both killing us inside

But my feelings aren't something that I can hide

At first, I thought it was something great

And I thought you were the perfect mate

Now I realize that that isn't the case

Our relationship no longer has a place

For you or me

As you can see

My heart only belongs to me now

I'm trying to help you and give you chances, but how?

You're not listening and you haven't before

Everyday, it's putting more stress into my core

How do I end it,

Without it being a hard hit?

I really don't want to hurt you

But you just can't seem to get a clue

I wanted it to work out for the best

Of course, this was just another test

Because in the end, I will find Mr. Right

And you're definitely not him, not now, not tonight.
