I don’t know why

I don’t know why

I see the stars and I meet the sky

And just like that, I hit the ground

I don’t land on my feet, but I can hear the sound

Footsteps, my own, running through time

I don't knew when, I don't know where

I see the scars and I stop and stare

What past I've known I won't soon forget

and what future I've grown can't so easily be met

I jump through hoops, I fly, I burn

I cast a shadow at every turn

The sun is spotted, the moon is dark,

I fall upon an empty ark

I sail away and witness life

only once have I sunken in the deep sea

the movement rapid and the cold beastly

Creation is mine after surviving the tide

and pain is elementary

My eyes are sore and my feet are torn

but my hands know hardship

and my mind is no longer in misery.

I don’t know how, I don’t know how,

but after that chaos

I get it now
