I Don't Know

So here it is, here i am

standing, present, conscious

finally, i overcame

i overcame the longing pain

of wanting someone that would've brought no gains

well good gains i mean, well i assume

from what i read, from what i heard

i always knew he was absurd

but still, i was infautated

was, thank God

but at the same time i miss that feeling

but at the same time i don't

it was nice to know that i can feel so deep

but the road up or down would've been too steep

being so vulnerable isn't my thing

i don't want it to be my thing, again

but i'm one to only be with someone that i'd like

which would lead to more

and i know the after affect in store

i've been through it, it wasn't worth it, i felt

but that feeling, oh, of that heart warming melt

oh well
