I Don't Know Who I Am

I try to keep going,

but fighting is hard.

This is love's doing,

I have no more cards.

You need cards to play,

that's what they don't get.

I'm always in the way,

my path hasn't been set.

I'm still learning,

I know I've broken hearts.

Inside I'm burning,

Those are the most important parts.

I don't know who I am

And I sure as hell won't know soon.

I see love and run,

It felt like being force fed with a spoon.

The feelings never come natural

And those connections aren't real.

I try to act casual,

but can't find love's appeal.

I want to be happy and find the one I love.

You're still all I see,

There could never be anyone above you.
