I dont look like what I've been through

In the search of my true self I tend to regret My actions taken without consideration But I have a destination and that is to go to school I can't drop out cause I have a future ahead of me The next top Forensic Scientist to be Going to school was good at the beginning Till I became more independent The life struggles, distractions and pains I dont look like what I've been through I cant give up now because a quitter never prospers and i must succeed Learning how to handle life on your own You take things into your own hands Until things happen that were not on your plans You become preoccupied by the materialistic things in life and not the realistic And you fall far from reality Into what we call imagination which wont give you your life expectations I don't look like what I've been through I was introduced to a world that changed my life forever Early mornings and late nights Then comes parties, friends and being in the streets I was stuck in a life not meant for me Just trying to be somebody that didn't fit me I am a child of God trying to find her way I just want to go to school and get away Find myself within thee So I cant come back and be the next top Forensic Scientist to be I don't look like what I've been through
