I Don't Love Love Anymore

I no longer desire love.
I no longer care to give my heart to anyone.
I don't love love anymore.
I love the concept of unconditional love but the reality of love is what I can't stand.

The reality is that loving someone will often leave you scarred.
The reality is that sometimes we fall in love with people who don't really love us.
The reality is that, if not careful, love can quickly turn into hate.

We like to believe in love at first sight, hopeless romantics taking flight, and love making everything alright.. but that's just not the reality of love.

I'm sorry, but from what I've seen and experienced myself I never want to be bitten by the love bug again.

I've seen more broken hearts than fairy tale endings, more lonely nights than hopeful beginnings.

So, I no longer desire love.
I no longer care to give my heart to anyone.
I don't love love anymore.
