I Don't Mind
Set the stage
I will play
As long as I can
You break me
Harder every time
And you think
Super glue
Will hold me together
Will save me from you
And the damage
Only you can put me through
Whatever you didn't say
But was on your tongue
The truths
You twist
Turn sour
And rotten
In my belly
You pressed too hard
And you knew better
But you held tighter
Like a snake
You broke me down
Robbed me
Clean and spotless
Is my insides
You had no idea
No clue
What kind of scar
You would leave behind
How much time
You would waste
So walk
Walk on that tight rope
No one has to know
What we both know
How cold
It is living this way
In shadows
In lies
You can only walk
On broken glass
Before it cuts you up
So keep pretending
And hiding
I don't mind
Wasting more time
More of my life
Because if you don't mind
I guess
I don't mind
