I Don't Need That


I don't need literature, those words are nothing compared to the ones you speak.

I don't need art, the way you make me feel is surreal enough.

I don't need music, nothing is as euphonious as that laugh.

I don't need science, test after test has made it a proven fact - I need you. 

When asked "what would you bring on an island with you?"

people respond "give me a moment".

I don't need that.

I've got my entire world with me,

I've got you.
