I Don't Need a Man

I don't need a man

They mess up my flow

I am worth so much more

Than they give me credit for

My lungs work fine on their own

I clothe myself everyday

I found out how to survive the world

I carved every single one of my pathways

With a unique name, look, and identity

My life is all mine

And contrary to prior belief,

I will not agree to co-sign
