I don’t need you

I don’t need you to be there always

But I’d like you there some times

I don’t need to be the only one you talk to

But if you need someone to talk to

I’ll be here

I don’t need you to try and brighten my day

I’m already bright

But I’ll always brighten yours

I don’t need you to be with me always

But I want to be your home

I don’t need you to love me

I’ll love you anyways

I don’t need you to love me

But I know you do
