I don’t sit up

I don’t sit up straight and I don’t listen, but I’ll keep my head high and I’ll be missin’ you tonight. Fingers tremble, bodies ache. Keep my feet down as earth starts to quake and shake. “Hello.” “Hello?” I’m fine. “Hello.” “Hello?” Goodnight. Pick up the phone, dead awake. Static connections starting to break me down. Oh, east coast please take me away. Home far home, keep me safe for now, I love you.
