I Doubt I Ever Will

Forgetting someone you loved so much is hard.

I doubt I ever will.

Even after she pierced my heart

And left me standing still.

Forgetting her will take time

I’m sure one day I will

After all she broke my heart

How else am I supposed to heal.

Years went by

She haunts me to this day

My heart aches my mind is fried

How could she leave me this way.

Forgetting her is all I want.

A way for me to heal.

But forgetting someone you love so much

I doubt I ever will.
