I Like to Eat

All my life I’ve loved to eat

At the table I have a seat

Where all I do is eat

When in college I got to meet

A beautiful woman nice and sweet

Who shared my love to eat

I made this woman my wife

So, we could spend our life

Eating with no strife

While still in school we needed to eat

But with no money to buy even a beet

So, to uber I loaned my car’s seats

More food was needed each week

So, another job I went to seek

And yet another to fill our beaks

Once both our school complete

We settled down one job apiece

With more money and time to eat

Until one day we discovered a seed

That grew to be another mouth to feed

Yes, a beautiful child indeed

Who also loves to eat

Now to school I return

For more money to earn

So my little girl does not yearn

For more food to eat
