I Enjoy the Silence

I know it's weird But I enjoy the silence It is the silence that welcomes miracles Hopes Dreams And tragedies It is the drum roll to a new beginning The literal calm before the storm It is the silence that allows me to stop Breathe Think And Appreciate Before I act I am grateful for the silence I get to relax my muscles Before I battle with life again I get to think back to memories That were nothing at that time And everything now That were everything at that time And nothing now In the silence I get to re-live sad times I get to see how I've grown How I've learned How I've dealt with impossibilities The sadness in also mourned in the silence It is never heard like the silence I truly love the silence A time in life when I hit pause and rewind
