i feel like

i feel like

my brain is fried

my body’s rotting

i’m left out for decay

bugs are eating at my corpse

i can barely walk

every step is fucking torture

everything is heavy

chains are on my arms and legs

i can barely breathe

i’m so tired

i can’t sleep

i can’t even check my phone

i’m staring at the wall for days

i’m watching life pass me by

i’m in hospice

pull the plug

give me freedom

from this hell

kinda cruel to keep me alive

i feel like

my mind is numb

my body’s gone

everything is fake

i’m in purgatory in my mind

i’m stuck inside a cage forever and i threw away the key

so much pain it makes me numb

hurts so bad can’t feel a thing

im shedding skin of all these fake personas

im left with a shell

im empty space

im in deaths arms

i think my mind is killing me

i think my thoughts will kill me

no action needed just this brain

i rot to death stuck inside my bed

doctor said it was neglection

but my mind pulled the trigger

hello :) i'm a 12th grader writing about my life and struggles hoping to help people with their own, empower others, and bring awareness to these topics. TRIGGER WARNING: my content contains explicit language, poems about sexual assault, toxic relationships, depression/suicide and mental illness, body image, and gun violence. What is described in these poems involve the ugliness that goes in part with rage due to trauma. 'Armageddon' is probably the most angriest, but therapeutic piece of writing I've ever created. Writing is my therapy. HOTLINES: Sexual Assault: 1-800-656-4673 Suicide/Mental Illness/Crisis Hotline: 1-800-273-8255 Not Safe to Talk?
