I feel your fire burn right through me.

I love you. I love you. I love you.

I feel your kisses right where you left them.

This skin of mine is too sensitive to your touch.

I'm glad I let you in. I'm glad you found me.

I'm glad you allowed me to melt their stares to standing ovations.

I'm here. You're here. We're both here.

And now the rain is falling.

And you're fast asleep.

I'm sitting down writing these nonsensical things

That I'm sure I will show you at some point in time.

But for now, they are simply being written.

Being spoken. Being created.

I can hear the raindrops.

I can hear waves crashing.

The ocean.

'I crash into things in the dark, even when the lights are on'

I'm so glad I crashed into you.

Our dragon-hearts have been slowly burning away.

This is no candle. This is a goddamn wildfire.

I did not intend to make a campfire out of your heart.

But my gods, it was cold out so thank you for letting me in.

Your arms are welcoming. Your embrace, comforting.

Your eyes radiate a kind of honest that I've never known about.

Your lips made me feel mountains. You took a piece of mine with you.

Your face is the most beautiful thing I've ever held between my hands.

Your neck, a place of belonging. Your hands, of understanding.

Your whole body screams raw passion when you get close enough to touch.

Nothing about this is made-up. This is no fairytale or sub-reality of my brain.

I have laid against your chest. Listened to your heartbeat.

You said heartbeats are the most honest parts of us. I believe you.

Mine keeps running, looking for ways to hold you closer.

Mine says, I love you with no explanations.

Mine says, I am afraid of what awaits us.

Mine says, I am not afraid of falling.

Mine says, to keep you close, I must look into your eyes,

the only place where I am unable to lie,

and tell you about the beauty of mountains on the moon.

Yours says, I've been here from the start.

Mine says, I will be here until the music stops. And even then.

Rain will keep falling. These celestial bodies are in a constant freefall,

but my gods, are we part of something Greater.
