I Fell

I’m falling

I fell

You let me drop

You said you’d catch me

But you let me drop

I fell

Hit the ground

I shattered

I need glue

But I’m out

Out of luck

Out of hope

Out of tears

Full of fears

I fell

Now I’m stuck

Picking up the pieces

Trying to assemble then

Into some coherent form

I don’t have a guide

I don’t have a heart

I don’t have the will

You took those

Before you let me fall

You let me fall

Fall to the ground

Now I’m there

Lying there

Not trying

Not caring

Not feeling

Not trusting

Building a wall

To protect myself

I cannot fall

If I have a wall

All around me

Yet

I fell
