I Found myself

Step by step, not knowing where I'm going. As I grow, everything seems different, the people I surrounded myself around are gone. Fake smiles, fake people, no one to shed a light. When I was with you, I felt sane. Memories of us together o the smile you gazed upon me from a far distance was one that I could never forget. I feed on your energy, wanting to be happy as you were. I never forgot how you changed me. We separated but as I now walk alone I start to realize all those little things you did, was because you wanted to be closer to me. You wanted to hold me, yet I pushed you away. You wanted love so you could grow with me, yet I left. I guess the little time I had with you were memories for me to remember you, I should've gave you all my time. I should've gave you that hug when you asked for it. I realize now that time doesn't stop, you either make memories or let them run away. I should've realized earlier that you were the one for me-I should've never turned a blind eye.
