I give

I give and give and give

Without intent to receive
I give and give and give some more
And sometimes 'til I bleed
But still when I NEED someone to give
I never tend to receive
And if I do receive per chance
It's not without consequences
For later when I cannot give
It's thrown back into my face
I try and try and try some more
But trying is never enough
I need someone to hold me up
Whenever times get rough
But no ones there
The friends are scarce
And now I'm all alone
I just want a place
That I feel safe
And can finally call my home
