"I Got to Be Your Voice"

I got to be your voice, and speak up for you. I got to be your hands to perfect your art work as you did. I got to be your feet to work as hard as you did. I got to keep your memory alive and staya strong for you. They say this and that but what do they know? Talk is cheap as they are. They don't know you as I do beause they never grew up with you. They were so busy cutting you down that they never really took the time to know you. Brother you're not here to defend yourself but i am here to be your voice. You were a man with a heart. You may have lived a double life but that doesn't make you a bad person. Yo lived a hard life when you were searching for happiness. The life you llived was a fast and steady life that you proceeded in two directions. Talent was at your hand but were with the wrong crowd, the wrong relationship, which brought you down in the ned. Now you're gone I wonder, does she feel responsible? Does she even care enough to shed tears for you as we do? She never even cared to say goodbye to you You deserved better than that. I got to be your voice to speak the truth.
