I Gotta Make It Out

Wake up in the morning, glad to live another day. Lots on my mind, no different from yesterday. Pondering life's struggles, I go through things you can't imagine, Near death experiences, every day i see my life flashing before my eyes. Yesterday my little brother met his demise To a stray bullet, what's worse is I know who pulled it, But what am I gonna do? Nobody will believe me. Same thing happened last week to my little cousin Stevie I just want to make it out, no doubt, this life is crazy, man Michael got shot, and Brenda's got a baby, man. I'm on a mission for college tuition, but nobody's willing to listen. All i get is "shhh", "go away", and a lack of intuition. I tell my friends I'll find a way to pay, they tell me that I'm trippin. I'll tell you what inspires me and it may not seem logical, My mom works two jobs, providing, She puts me through school, I'm striving, She puts food on the table, gives me a home that's stable, and she's not even my biological, That's love.
