I greatly depise these thoughts
I greatly depise these thoughts of you that conflict with my sense of stability
These long empty halls that crave to be filled with consistency
Requesting refuge from these knives of insecurity
My ears begin to search for the cure to this uncertainity in your speech
They long to hear those words that fear forbids you to speak
But not a sound,not even a creak
Although your silent footsteps
Your graceful tip-toe,through these lonely halls like a thief
Afraid how the legal purchase of this heart will apprehend your freedom
You'd rather be illegal?a criminal? that awaits the stroke of midnight to snatch this heart,so no soul sees it
So it's yours,your only secret
But I am unsure,if I am a secret then surely theres more.
Tell me,is your love without cause? because you progress then you pause, you progress then you pause
Like the word 'reluctant' begins to draw your attention to the rest of these pink-plated souls that are in request of your heart's all
So I bust the springs of my eyes
So the world will know that my heart has been wronged.
But these tears do not even have a reason to fall
But I guess it's my fault,my flaw
Because I choose to see you through the windows of those false painted fairytales of old
So I sit here eyes bimming with excitement that soon marries dissappointment in this glittering gown that my fairy godmother toiled
So yes I am the Cinderela that never got to go to the ball
