As I Grew

My new eyes see the light,

and in arms of my loving mother.

I can't seem to find th sight,

of the one I  call father.

I lived through the struggle and the pain,

mom worked days and nights it was tough.

Dad had walked out the door once again,

his actions had said enough.

Raised right and college she sent me,

Only mom supported me and she stayed true,

Money isn't there so I can't attend a university,

Her actios made me stronger As I Grew.
