As I Grow

For Grandma,

Although I was just shy of thirteen,

impacts of love and hope stayed throughout the years.

Your compassion shows for all that is good.

Today, As I grow,

Your lessons still shine bright.

Fond memories stay present

And mementos remain dear.

But now, I learn new lessons

Because time moves on.

Love,

Alexis.
