I Guess it Never Mattered
“Why are you upset?
Why are you so angry?”
You never treat me fairly
Or kindly for that matter
Oh great I’m fu***** crying
I hate you for that matter
My rooms a mess?
Yeah I’m a mess!
It’s like I never matter
A part of me just wishes I could turn off all these feelings
A big part of my feelings aren’t anger just confusion
Why are you so rude to me?
I thought I was your daughter
As for you my sweet dear sister
You’re so quick to use your words
Your sharp tongue hurt me many times
And stabbed my heart so coldly
I thought you loved me
I sure loved you
Guess my feelings didn’t matter
At times you were so kind to me
I guess that doesn’t matter
In the end it never matters
