I had a dream

You told me you loved me,

you hugged me tight,

you asked me to be yours.

I'm beyond happy.

I finally have you.

But I woke up...

I felt the crushing pain of my empty heart.

I felt the blade drag across my pale skin.

I felt my heart break for the thousandth time.

Yet, I can see your eyes,

your smile,

your love.

I am losing my vision.

I am losing my fight.

Yet I can feel your love.

So I close my eyes and sleep.

Wrapped in your love, I die happy.
