I Had A Dream

I once had a dream

That the love of my life

Moved into my home

And into my life 

And we spent the night 

Together

And eight-and-a-half months later-

A sweet little girl

I named her Skye Clarice

She had his dark curls

And my deep eyes

And my strong stance

And his easy smile

And everything was perfect

For a half of a moment

That lasted for twelve years.

And then i found him

In someone else's bed

Together

And I took my heart and earth and Skye

And ran
