I had a noise
I had a noise
A noise that rested in
the fingertips that
worked silently.
I had a noise
A noise that rested in
the fingertips that
were different from
other fingertips
I had seen.
I had a noise
A noise that rested in
the hands that
worked silently.
I had a noise
A noise that rested in
the hands that
worked for the hands
different from mine.
I had a noise
A noise that rested in
the arms that
worked silently.
I had a noise
A noise that rested in
the arms that
were bruised with
the bruises of other arms
that were like mine.
I had a noise
A noise that rested in
the chest that
breathed silently.
I had a noise
A noise that rested in
the chest that
breathed for other chests
different from mine.
I had a noise
A noise that rested in
the throat that
swallowed silently.
I had a noise
A noise that rested in
the throat that
was chained by others
with throats
different than mine.
I had a noise
A noise that wouldn't rest
in the mouth
that was no longer
working silently.
I had a noise
A noise that wouldn't rest
in the mouth that
was now louder than
the mouths
that were different than mine
I have a noise
A noise that no longer
is unheard
by those with noises
different than mine.
