I had a teacher once,
I had a teacher once, who wrote with such flair. I wasn't sure if I could, but i didn't care.
I just picked up my pen and laid down the paper. Next thing I knew, there was layer after layer,
of words and rhymes, new and old times. I'd written so much, about nothing and everything.
I'd written of what I was seeing and what I was hearing. I felt this rush of inspiration, I'd never knew existed.
After that day, the muse came and I never missed it. I was always there, ready to write.
Whenever the inspiration would come, and strike with it's might. That is when poetry and writing first struck,
not sure if it was out of chance, design, or pure luck. Whatever it was, I'm glad I caught it, because truly,
I don't know who I'd be without it.
