I Hate Goodbyes

Before I go

I just want you to know

I will miss you so much

Especially your touch

Your hands linked with mine

As we watch the sun shine

But the day has come

And I hate saying goodbye

When I do I regret it

And you wish I hadn’t said it

Or to stop you from grieving

Maybe I shouldn’t be leaving

And I’ll stay with you instead

Now I take back everything I said
