"I Hate It When My Hair Grows"
"I Hate It When My Hair Grows"
I hate it when my hair grows,
looking in the mirror,
I look different,
Even from a month ago.
As a child I hated every inch I grew,
It made me closer to those I hated,
those who forgot how to live
but I understand now,
still I can't help but hate time.
As it passes,
people pass with it,
onto the next life
or just out of mind.
I find it hard to count the minutes,
every tick blends with it's tock.
Forgot what I don't want to remember,
that bad day,
a rainy September,
all I gave up to be here.
I hate it when my hair grows,
because it reminds me of change,
things I can't control,
So I say goodbye
or I try my best to change it back.
