I have to be better

Where should i start

okay, once upon no no first by the pond

alone i stood where no one understood and

could even understand my situation or try to

grasp my determination. Determination to be better than the ghetto

so that everyone around me would know,

not much longer i have in these streets

I Promised myself they would'nt get the best of me.

My heart, my soul, my mind would not let these streets to defeat me.

My Bro,My SIs My Moms they all been through it

With all my might i will not do it.

late nights, Shooting, Screems, and hollars

like the girl on the corner yelling about her missing dollar.

I just shut the door and beg go "Please no more".

I got to do better I got to be better I will better!
