I Have to Find It

I love the sound of people's feet.

I feel them scampering along;

The hustling scurry,

The frantic fleeing.

As I look around

I can't help but wonder,

Why are they in such a hurry?

What is the meaning of all of this hustle?

From what are they fleeing?

I sometimes realize my nigh

The people's frantic fleeing there

Am I that different?

Am I so frightened?

I stop--

I reflect--

I notice--

I am no different than all of these people

Because I'm fleeing something of my own.

Refusing to believe my life

Uninterested in my life,

I start to wonder

I start to feel.

Everyone else seems to have love

I've been looking, oh trust me.

I've been trying.

I've been scouring and searching for a whisp of affection,

Is there something wrong with me?

Do I have to change?

Is there a way to get away from reality?

I'm so lonely...

I'm getting scared...

Maybe I've been looking for the wrong love.

Is there some sort of lie I live?

Am I pushing away the world?

I have to feel,

I have to find it.

I stopped running with the crowd,

So many are still frantically fleeing about

Searching for the love I have.

There are so many things one will notice

When blinded my everyone else's life.

The human ability to be nieve;

The human ability to judge.

I just had to have the courage to do it--

Just have the courage to come out and say it

So you can have this love too.
