I Have Flaws
I am not perfect; I am flawless,
I am flawless because I have flaws.
My flaws do not constrict me
Or cause me any amount of asphyxiation
Because I spin my flaws into opportunities.
To allow myself to recognize the desires in my heart.
I use these opportunities to reconcile the beauty in my mind to my own perceptions.
As I grow, I see more flaws.
But this growth makes me more confident.
Enough so to break the spell the media has created.
I use this confidence to never let the doubters get me down.
The person I see is not someone who claims to be perfect.
But someone who understands perfection is impossible.
Yet my flaws make me flawless.
