I have something to say #NoFilter

I am human, i bleed, i hurt, i live and i die.

I am also human, I lie, I cheat, i find shortcuts and I am not alwys morally upright.

Is it wrong that I do those things? Yes it is

Is it wrong that I admit them and try to change? No it isn't

So what if i said, "I am human, I am smarter than most, I am beautiful without filters, I am more qualified than most" would you say I am conceited and self centered?

Is it then wrong that I admit my good side? Well withouth the filters I am smart. Thye filters society has put on my liife. The filters of surveillance that is watching my every step so I do not step on another toe but expects me to just wave it off when someone steps on my toe. Sitting back, people would say those filters hide your flaws and hence you are not being real or "100". Yet no one would want a person who is quick tempered or not a certain "type" and then those same people would call those of us with the filters fake and unreal. Look inside yourself and tell me you have no attitudes you put off or put on when a certain group of people are around.

Without the filters, I am a human that no one regards as "worthy".  So then I have something to say, and it is not in my words. It is in my actions sugar coated by the filters and what i have to say is this, "I am not fake for having the filterss. I have them because I am more interested in what you want than me being myself. I am not hiding my flaws behind the filters. I am just putting off the parts that aren't acceptable to most so I do not have to live alone. Besides no man is an island. The filters aren't my way of trying to entice, it is my way of trying to embrace selflessness."

And so, without the filters i am a person who sees the good in people to the extent that I would give upp myself for their happiness. With no filter I am selfless and considerate of your reasons to smile. Without the filter my happiness matters more to me than yours. So with the filters, i Have something to say
